Who You Are Matters
I was born in Newport Beach California and lived in Laguna Niguel (roughly 15 minutes from Newport). I am the youngest of my siblings and have one brother and two sisters.
I want to be a professional baseball player and I know the only way there is through hard work. Realistically, I know how difficult it is to make it in professional sports and although that has been my dream all my life, I understand that I have to have a back up plan. I am currently majoring in real estate development where I plan to hopefully work in commercial real estate while also being a real estate investor. Either path requires an incredible amount of hard work and I am looking forward to doing my best to get to where I want to be.
My parents are extremely hard workers and have worked tirelessly in their respective careers to be successful. From a young age, they have instilled that work ethic in my siblings and I which I believe to be most like them in. My parents are also very supportive and loving and I like to think I support those around me and root for everyone in whatever they do.
Both of my parents are very organized people and like things done a certain way. I am more of the type that does not plan well and tend to leave things until the last minute. It drives my parents crazy but that is just how I have always been and have gotten a little better with it over the years.
I would say most of my life my parents had expectations for me that I strived to meet to make them proud but as I have grown older and matured my parents expect that I set goals for myself and do my best to achieve them. My new expectations for myself are simply to just do everything to the best of my ability and let things play out how they are supposed to.
Kobe Bryant has been my role model outside my family my entire life. He demonstrated so many qualities such as dedication, love, passion, and always pushed the people around him. After his career, he showed he was more than an athlete, and was an amazing father and family man until his life was taken. I will always look to Kobe for motivation whenever things seem out of reach.
A wild animal I feel a connection to is monkeys. I've always thought monkeys were super funny and they always seem to be happy.
I read the book "The Giving Tree" when I was younger and it is still one of my favorite books. I used to look at big trees and always imagine that book coming to life and it always made me smile.
Sun Sign - Sagittarius Moon Sign - Aries Rising Sign Virgo I didn't know much about horoscopes before this assignment but after reading through what it all means it is very intriguing and I want to continue reading about it.
