Stop Suicide,  Start Living  I am passionate about this topic because suicide rates are at an all-time high due to depression and anxiety. I want to get to a point where people never feel the need to take their own life. I am passionate because I feel like alleviating this issue will, in turn, create a more loving and passionate society which will assist in helping broader issues. World we dare to imagine pt.1

I want to acknowledge that I am aware of the many pressing issues in our world. I wish there was a button we could press to make things like world hunger, climate change, rape, and other major issues disappear. I think there are plenty of amazing movements in place that will help with these issues that I hope to one day be apart of. However, I want to talk about something a little different. If I could change anything in this world it would be to eliminate societal norms and live in a world where we focus on loving yourself and others, empathy, and passion. Way too often, people including myself look at what others are doing to get confirmation on what they are doing. Although this may seem like a small issue, I believe it is what is tearing our society apart. Social media is one of the worst contributing factors to this issue.
